Mark Hergan serves as Vice President for Enrollment Management. His 16 years at Stevenson University (formerly Villa Julie College) started with a post as Admissions Counselor, progressing to Director of Admissions, before being promoted to his current position.
Prior to his career at Stevenson, Mark worked in Admissions Offices at Baltimore City Community College and his alma mater, St. Mary’s College of Maryland. In 1990 he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Economics and Political Science.
When he’s not involved in his many responsibilities at Stevenson University, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and their dog. An avid sailor, he enjoys racing whenever he has the chance in addition to woodworking. Most recently, he has become the unofficial campus photographer. His work can be found anonymously displayed throughout the University’s website. His latest passion is blogging. Mark is excited to share all the news and events taking place at Stevenson U with anyone interested in reading about the latest campus happenings.
A natural leader, he is a great believer in serving and volunteers in his community, as Treasurer of the Homeowner’s Association and coordinator of many neighborhood events.
